Youtube music video and affiliate marketing

Hope you can help me with this one.

I sometimes do freelance work for somebody who manages music artists. I chiefly convert newsletter designs to html and send them to his network of venues, hoping they will book the artist the newsletter is built for.

In one of the newsletters i created for him he wanted a video of one of his artists. Since it is not feasible to to embed video’s in emails i suggested to upload the video to Youtube and link to it in the newsletter.

We have uploaded the video to Youtube and after a couple of month the video is get arround 10.000 opinions a day.

The video is a live performance of the artist he manages.

Could anyone advice us on how to monetize a Youtube video like this with affiliates, is it even possible?
