We’ve recently operate analysis on a number of properties. We reviewed impression and click data before/ after implementing the AMP protocol. In short, very few evidence to demonstrate NET improvements in traffic as a result. That is, the AMP pages surely get Google love, but it seems to be at the cost of non-amp pages which previously would have seen that traffic.
When we blend this with the fact that AMP pages are less flexible, harder to convert( and/ or track conversions ), seems like AMP may not be the right move.
Any thinks or experiences on AMP results?
